HIV Testing

Regular testing is the best way to make sure you know your status. We’ve got a bunch of HIV testing services for you.

HIV Testing Services

We offer free HIV testing kits at all our community HIV info kiosks in the greater Entebbe Area. No appointments needed—just drop by, grab a test kit, or take the test with the help of our Peer Community Advisor (PCA). The service depends on the availability of testing kits.

We also do community outreach at places like markets, schools, colleges, churches, and local community centers to offer HIV testing.

If you can’t make it to one of our kiosks, or if you’d rather do it at home, you can order an HIV testing kit to be delivered to you if there’s a kiosk near you.

Our HIV testing and self-testing service and kits are free, thanks to support from the Ministry of Health and partners, to provide free tests to those who can’t afford to pay.

You can also get free HIV testing services from a health center near you.

Getting a Test

The test just needs a tiny bit of blood from your finger. Depending on the test, you can get results in as fast as one minute, and up to 20 minutes.

If needed, we’ll offer other tests, depending on what’s available in your area.

To make sure all our clinical services give you top-notch care and are safe, our services follow a clinical governance framework.

This means our staff are trained for their roles, we have clear policies and procedures, and we work within national guidelines and standards. We regularly check our services and welcome feedback from our service users.
