The Platform
A Community + Digital Youth Health System
DEEPROOTS expands access to HIV prevention by combining community-based support systems with digital health information platforms. The model connects young people to accurate information, peer support networks, and trusted health services.
By bringing prevention tools closer to communities and creating confidential digital access points, DEEPROOTS strengthens HIV prevention for adolescents and young people.
Why It Matters
Strengthening Community HIV Prevention
Many young people still face barriers when accessing HIV prevention services. These barriers include stigma, lack of youth-friendly services, and limited access to accurate information.

Institutional Leadership
Youth Plus Policy Network Uganda
DEEPROOTS is an initiative of Youth Plus Policy Network Uganda, a youth-led organization working to improve health, education, and leadership opportunities for young people.
Through community-driven programs, Youth Plus works with local leaders, health providers, and young people to strengthen HIV prevention and expand access to youth-friendly services.
